January Community Connect – The WC

Happy New Year from the Witry Collective! We begin 2019 by reflecting on our first year in business. 2018 has brought us many successes and united us closer as colleagues, friends, and family. Knowing that our vision of creating a firm built on trust, collaboration, and a commitment to our clients has come to fruition is surreal for all of us at the Witry Collective. We have grown together as a company and have learned to rely on each other in order to grow and be successful. We are thankful for the recognitions and honors that the Witry Collective has received this past year, including being voted as the #1 Best Real Estate Agent in the New Orleans Metro AreaΒ by Gambit Weekly readers. Josh Walther is featured as a New Orleans KingfishΒ in the January edition of New Orleans Magazine and he continues his volunteer work with unCommon Construction. Katie Witry was named Entrepreneur of the YearΒ by the New Orleans Metropolitan Women’s Council of Realtors and also received recognition by CityBusiness New Orleans as an Excellence in Construction & Real Estate Honoree. Brett Rector received his broker licenseΒ at the beginning of 2018 and is also featured as a New Orleans KingfishΒ in the January edition of New Orleans Magazine. Adrienne LaBauve enjoyed working with developersΒ and found her niche selling luxury condos in the Warehouse/Arts District. Sophie Brunner joined the Witry CollectiveΒ in June 2018 and provides our company with new ideas and perspectives.

We are proud of our year-to-date statistics, but more than that, we are proud to be creating a business that focuses on inclusivity and integrity. We could not have accomplished all of what we have without the help of the administrative department that supports us. Emma Schluntz, Chief Organizer, in Oregon, Ali Cherenek, Administrative Support, in Connecticut, and Aubry Larson, Administrative Support, in California, have all dedicated countless hours to making our business run successfully. Cheryl Golich, our accountant, has been a huge asset in helping our company run smoothly and efficiently. A big thank you to all of the business associates, title companies, lenders, insurance agents, and tradesmen that we have the pleasure of working with; we could not close a contract without you. We wish our biggest thank you to our clients.Β We are so grateful for your trust and business. We promise that our hard work and dedication to you will not falter in 2019.

Overall, we consider 2018 to be an extremely positive first year in business and we want to thank all who made it possible. From our fellow colleagues, to our friends and family who support us – THANK YOU! We are so lucky to have the opportunity to love our work and love the people we work with. We are hopeful for more success and collaboration in 2019 and wish all of you a very happy and healthy new year.
