Cooking with The Collective: Old Metairie

Cooking with The Collective: Old Metairie

Tucked away in a quaint cul-de-sac of Old Metairie, 3 Fairview Court was the perfect backdrop for our second edition of ‘Cooking with The Collective’, featuring our own Brett Rector and Sophie Brunner. You might remember the space from our Restorative Yoga class (incase you missed it click here) held in the bright and breezy sunroom.

For this segment, Brett plated up a delicious Broiled Teriyaki Salmon, atop a bed of Sweet Potato Mash, completed with some sautéed Sesame Baby Spinach and Sophie shared her chopped Kale Salad recipe. You can find the recipe print outs down below and checkout the video for a full tutorial and some fun with the team!

While we’re here, if you haven’t had the chance to see 3 Fairview Court in person you’re missing out on an Old Metairie gem. The home offers a contemporary linear design, with some rustic and cozy elements throughout the space. On the main level you have a gorgeous sunroom, large living room with fireplace, bright study, large dining room, an incredible kitchen to entertain and breakfast nook surrounded by floor to ceiling windows.

Head up a short flight of stairs to 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms soaked with natural light. Then up to the sprawling master bedroom with a generous sitting area, a large two-room walk-in closet with floor to ceiling built in shelving, a balcony/deck, additional closets and a gorgeous garden tub in the bathroom.

A few steps down from the main floor and you enter a large den or playroom, ample additional storage, your garage and plenty of room to expand. The backyard comes complete with an impeccable tranquil setting, with lush foliage and a peaceful, private escape.
